During this period:

  • Notice of turbidity violations (August to November) and resolution published on January 8. December 2019 turbidity measurements did not incur a violation.

  • Jepson Engineering completed a survey of the water treatment facilities, settling pond, and surrounding area on January 8-10.

  • Dept. of Ecology Dam Safety annual inspection submitted, and the 5-year inspection by DOE engineers scheduled for April 2020. Emergency Action Plan and Operations & Maintenance Manual is in development.

  • Dept. of Health Water Facility Inventory submitted with 221 total service connections, LISE has 250 permitted connections and three pending connection requests.

  • Formal Compliance Agreement has been established between DOH and LISE on February 14 to address turbidity violations with deadline of July 1, 2020 to submit a schedule to address water treatment improvements and timeline.

  • DOH Sanitary Survey scheduled for late July 2020.
