This spring we have been graced with warm temperatures and abundant rainfall. Lummi Island is as green as I have ever seen it. The docks are in the water in the marina, and last year’s upgrades are looking great. The swim lake is full, but still very cold. I went last weekend with my grandchildren and was not brave enough to go for a swim.

Thank you to those of you who supported the two recent social events at the clubhouse. Not only did we have a lot of fun seeing old friends and making new ones, but we also raised over $1600 towards the Ramp It Up project.

Those of you who live near the clubhouse may have noticed lots of activity around the docks. After some research, and years of band-aid type repairs, we determined that the best fix for the corroded brackets was to build a new metal framework. This will greatly increase the lifespan of our main dock and should be completed soon.
